"I'm Praying for You, Nathan"

Today, Mark brought Nathan and Jordyn with him when I
sent out my DISTRESS call for help needed to clean up
Dale's car of the chili spilled on the floor boards.. Nathan
and I played Cat's Eye, an old marble game, after Mark
was back in the house to watch over Jordyn. Later I changed
my clothes getting ready for our evening church service and
told Nathan I wanted to give him a hug before I left. As I
gave him a hug I told him I had been praying for him that
he would get well soon.

So Nathan said, 'when I get well then you can stop praying
for me'. I said, no, I pray for you every day and I'll continue
to do that even though you're not sick. Nathan is such a
considerate little boy...

Thank you, Mark!!!!

Today we had a chili cook-off after church in the fellowship hall.
Dale had to work so couldn't help me get my crock-pot of chili
'safely' to the church and back. Well.... I got it there okay and
enjoyed a chili dinner and fellowship, it was AFTER the meal
that I had a LITTLE problem. I placed the half full crock-pot
in the floor of the front seat and started home. Well, I had
thought I had slowed down enough to make the turn from
604 onto Seville Road....BUT I was WRONG. During the turn
my crock-pot leaned a little too far and tipped over spilling
most of the contents in the floor of Dales's car. Oh me, Oh my!!
I made the call to my 'loving' son, Mark and he came to the
rescue. Never mind that he was laying down with one of his
sick sons for a nap.. he still came to his Mom's aid. Now you
can't even tell there was chili spilled on the carpet floor...
and I can't say THANK YOU enough to my FAVORITE
Son!!! Thank you, Mark - you MADE my DAY!!! I had
to include a picture of my son below so you won't forget
what a good samaritan looks like. Love you Mark!!!

"BRAGGING RIGHTS"

Eat your heart out.. who of you can say that you went
SNOW TUBING at the good old of age of "85">???
Anyone, anyone???
My Mom went snow tubing for the first time today and enjoyed it...
even though she wasn't sure what to expect. We bundled her up
and went for a ride. It helped that it wasn't too cold today, I think
the high might have been right around 50 degrees, but it was FUN
anyway.
Mark was our 4-wheel driver and he didn't take us too fast... I sure
didn't want Mom to go flying off. When we went for a ride on a jet
ski a few years ago Mom said she wished we could have gone
faster. So I think at heart she may be a little dare-devil..

Canal Fulton Sunset

I took this picture in Canal Fulton while I was there visiting
Mom Saturday evening. The brilliance of the colors was amazing!!!

SNOW PLAY FUN!!!

Bret Haven and family came over this afternoon for tubing in the
field across from our house. Here Nathan and Ben share the tube
with Bryce and Coen...

Here is the whole Haven family including Bret, Jen and little
Renee. Renee didn't want to ride - but we finally coaxed her
to let us take a family picture. Mark even turned the
4-wheeler off so Renee knew they weren't going anywhere...

We watched the boys have fun on the tube.... but Renee
never agreed to take a ride herself. Maybe next year??

Grandma Shari even got to take two rides with Nathan
and Ben... oh what FUN!!!! Although I think Ben was
just as content riding the 4-wheeler with his Dad than
being on the tube and getting snow in his face...

Jen took a ride with Coen and Bryce..

Mark and Ben enjoyed giving the rides... later Mark took
a couple of rides himself and tried standing up for awhile
"until" he fell off. I was not close enough to get a picture,
I wish I had video of that one...

The snow was very DEEP and WET so it wasn't as
easy to plow through as you might think. In the
picture below you can see Mark was throwing
snow pretty good!!!

Here Mark and Bret took Ben and Coen for a ride...

Mark and Ben pulled the other boys on the tube...
One time I was pulling Ben on a saucer and he fell
off 30 yards into the ride. He wasn't very happy
even though he was the one that WANTED to
RIDE. I brushed the snow off of him and found
he even had snow packed in one ear.. That
must have been why he was crying. Sorry Andrea!

Renee didn't ride the tube - so she took a winter ride
on the tire swing. Brrrrrrr!!

At the end of our tube rides Nathan got out his dump
truck to haul some snow. It doesn't matter to Nathan
if it's dirt or snow as long as he can load it up and move
it out....
A final picture of the 4-wheeler Mark was driving and
the snow it was throwing... Mark was in his element!!
